BALTIMORE (WJZ) ―A more energy-efficient way to cook.
Mary Bubala reports the good news is microwave ovens save energy.
They’re about 33 percent more efficient than convection ovens and 66 percent more efficient than conventional ovens. Also, they don’t heat up your kitchen.
Each to their own – I guess you figure out what you will use your best microwave oven for. For example we know a couple who use it to make their coffee Ours is mostly used for some vegetables and meals that don’t need to be “crisp” etc.
But hey for convenience, speed, and low energy consumption they are great – thank you Dr Percy Soencer for your insight in harnessing the energy of microwaves.
