Route 32 Reopened After Fatal Crash

CLARKSVILLE, Md. (WJZ) --  Route 32 is back open in both directions after a fatal accident Tuesday morning in Clarksville.

Police say it appears that a flatbed truck traveling southbound on Route 32 near Route 108 slid into northbound traffic when the driver applied the brakes. The truck was struck by Michael Dumonceau's 2001 Jeep Cherokee traveling northbound.

Dumonceau, 68, was pronounced dead at Howard County General Hospital.

The driver of the flatbed truck, Robert Knott, 30, of Walkersville in Frederick County, was not injured.

The investigation continues into the crash.
