WEATHER BLOG: Hello, Sunshine

The dry, cool air has arrived. Sunshine will fill the day, but not help temperatures much. We are only rising to the upper 40s for highs - back below the average of 57 degrees. We are going to stay below that average right into next week.

It will also stay dry for the next few days. A weak front will drag some clouds over us Wednesday night and Thursday, but that's about it. Then, another storm will move our way from the south this weekend. Clouds will start to increase Saturday, followed by rain sometime Sunday into Monday. This storm will strengthen as it moves up the coast and kick up the winds. We are going to have to see how much real cold air (below freezing) is available to see what kind of snow chances we have even in western parts of the state. Stay tuned...
