The National Commission on Teaching and America's Future is hosting the event at a Hanover hotel on Thursday.

Representatives from The Boeing Company, Northrop Grumman Corporation, the Maryland Department of Education and school districts of Howard, Prince George's, Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties are scheduled to take part.

The commission has been awarded a $95,000 grant over two years from The Boeing Company for its STEM Learning Studios Initiative.
