15-Year-Old Charged With Starting Fire At Glen Burnie High School

MILLERSVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- A 15-year-old boy was arrested and charged with intentionally setting a fire in a bathroom trash can at Glen Burnie High School.

According to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, school officials extinguished a small blaze in a trash can in the men's bathroom. Arson investigators reported to the school and realized the fire was intentionally set.

Investigators interviewed a male suspect and charged him with first-degree arson, second-degree malicious burning and reckless endangerment.

The 15-year-old, who was not identified, has been released into the custody of a grandparent.
