Terrell Suggs Marries Girlfriend Days After She Drops Protective Order

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Terrell Suggs is officially a taken man. The Ravens linebacker married his longtime girlfriend, who recently dropped a protective order against him.

As Monique Griego explains, it happened a day before 911 calls from his girlfriend, Candace Williams, were released.

Suggs has just posted a Facebook photo of the ceremony.

They married after Williams previously alleged that on Nov. 20, Suggs punched her in the neck and dragged her alongside a car he was driving with their two children inside.

The next day, Williams, who'd received control of the house she shares with Suggs, called 911.

"My name is Candace Williams and my fiance, ex-fiance's name is Terrell Suggs," she said to an operator.

Williams said she wasn't at home, but was having the locks changed when Suggs' family showed up.

"They came there, rushed their way into the house and are refusing not to leave and they're getting loud and violent with my aunt," she said during the call.

As part of the restraining order, Suggs was ordered to turn over his guns which included an AK-47.

"I have to get back in my house with my two minor children, 5 and 3, and I don't know if they have guns and I don't know what they have and I'm scared for my life," Williams told the operator.

Suggs later released a statement saying he and Williams had resolved their the personal issues and were moving forward as a happy family.

Along with his wedding photo, Suggs posted a message calling Williams the love of his life and best friend.

The couple reportedly had a small ceremony with around 30 people.
