Frederick Woman Arrested For Counterfeiting
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Police say a Frederick woman has been arrested for allegedly passing counterfeit bills.
Frederick Police say Lauren Nicole Cucura, 19, was arrested Sunday after employees at a grocery store contacted police. Police say the woman is also believed to have used a counterfeit bill at another store.
Cucura was charged with four counts of possessing forged currency and theft of under $100. She was taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center where she was awaiting an appearance before a District Court commissioner.
