Baltimore Speed Cameras To Be Removed--Temporarily
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Say goodbye to speed cameras in Baltimore City. Every one of them will be taken down--temporarily.
The city says all 83 cameras will be replaced with a newer, more accurate model.
A recent investigation by WJZ's media partner, The Baltimore Sun, revealed the current cameras made frequent errors.
The new project is expected to cost nearly half a million dollars, although the city did not say who would foot the bill.
