Silver Spring Man Pulls Out Shotgun At Hotel Party
SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County police have arrested a Silver Spring man for holding up eight people with a sawed-off shotgun at a hotel.
Police say Jackson Julius, 18, was arrested shortly after the robbery Friday night at the Homewood Suites Hotel in Silver Spring. Police say Julius interrupted a party in a room at the hotel and pulled out the shotgun.
Investigators say he robbed the guests of cash, personal items, phones and other items. Police later found the suspect on a Ride On bus with a duffel bag full of items. Police found the sawed-off shotgun and the guests' stolen items inside the bag.
Julius faces multiple charges of armed robbery and firearms offenses.
