Police Search For Witnesses, Leads In Lutherville Light Rail Shooting

LUTHERVILLE, Md. (WJZ)--Baltimore County Police are looking for information from anyone who was on the Lutherville light rail platform last Friday during or just before or after the shooting of a 35-year-old man.

The shooting occurred at about 4:15 p.m. on the light rail platform in the 100-block of Ridgely Road.

Detectives want to speak to anyone who was on the platform at or near the time of the shooting. Detectives believe that even if you did not witness the shooting itself you may have seen or heard something that may help them with this investigation.

The victim, Harold J. Blandon Jr., 35, is still receiving medical treatment. Blandon was shot twice as he was waiting for the train to take him home from work. Detectives are trying to determine whether or not he was targeted.

If you have information about this crime, please contact Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020.
