Man Dies After Crashing Car Into Edgewater Home

EDGEWATER, Md. (AP) — A 20-year-old man has died after his car crashed into a home in Edgewater.

Anne Arundel County police say Ryan Anderson of Harwood died Saturday night at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Police say Anderson was taken to the hospital after his car went through an intersection and into the deck and porch of a home early Saturday morning.

Police say he was not wearing a seat belt. Speed does not appear to be a factor in the crash, and police say they’re not sure whether alcohol was involved.
