WEATHER BLOG: Cloudy But Warm

The clouds have returned and rain is on the way, but it's still warm outside. We are heading up to near 60 degrees Monday and then again Tuesday. Some rain will move across the state Monday night, with rain possibly heavy during the day Tuesday. The rain will move out of here with the responsible cold front Tuesday night, taking the warmer air with it.

Winds will pick up and turn around to the northwest Wednesday, bringing in colder air. Highs will struggle to reach 50 degrees Wednesday, then not make it out of the 40s Thursday and Friday. There will also be a few showers popping up with the rush of colder air Wednesday, and some of those will be snow showers out west. Clouds will mix with more sunshine Thursday and Friday, even though the gusty northwest wind will keep it chilly around here.

Temperatures will start recovering back to the 50s this weekend. However, we will be in a different weather pattern where a stream of clouds will extend from the Ohio Valley across the Mid-Atlantic out to the ocean. So, there may still be rounds of clouds to contend with.
