BALTIMORE (WJZ)—A man is stabbed to death inside a Baltimore City homeless shelter.

Police say it happened shortly before 6 a.m. Sunday at the Code Blue Homeless Shelter in the 600-block of Fallsway.

When police arrived, they found an adult male with serious injuries.

The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he later died.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim and suspect had an argument inside the shelter.

Police say they have optimistic leads in the case and homicide is investigating.
