Temporary Walkway Over US 15 Opening In Frederick
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- The Maryland State Highway Administration says it's opening a temporary pedestrian bridge over U.S. 15.
The opening of the span on Monday is part of a two-year project to improve Motter Avenue, which crosses above the busy highway.
The agency say the nearby walkway will give pedestrians a safe route for crossing the highway while the Motter Avenue overpass work is in progress.
It also will keep pedestrians and bicyclists away from the work area.
