Md. Police Say Man Jumped; Struck On I-795 By Several Vehicles

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police say a man jumped from an overpass onto Interstate-795 in Baltimore County and was struck by multiple vehicles that didn't stop.

Police say witnesses reported seeing Ronnie Lewis, 43, of Reisterstown jump from the Pleasant Hill Road overpass late Monday night. He was struck by several vehicles and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Northbound I-795 was closed for a time from Owings Mills Boulevard and Franklin Boulevard. Police say vehicle parts were located at the scene and were recovered as evidence.

Anyone who saw the incident is asked to call police.
