WEATHER BLOG: It's Friday

High pressure will firmly be in control Friday through Saturday giving us a tranquil weather pattern with a good deal of sunshine.

Saturday should be warmer than Friday as temps begin to rise. The high scoots offshore on Sunday, and the low level flow turns more southerly and then SE by the end of the day. So, we still see some sun Sunday morning and then clouds
should lower and thicken during the afternoon on Sunday and there could even be a shower or a bit of rain popping up by the end of the day on Sunday.

The high scoots further offshore on Monday and the moisture deepens in the column, so we see a cloudy day with a little rain and drizzle and a continued SE low level wind flow. The high tries to push dry air a bit further south into the area Tuesday and Wednesday...but we are far enough south that drying and clearing these days will be tough. It is more likely off to our N and NE. Thus, we keep the forecast rather cloudy on Tues. and Wed. with some rain/drizzle likely as the low level wind flow likely remains E to SE with high pressure to the north and low pressure developing offshore.

Have a good day and weekend.
