Victims In Brutal Windsor Inn Attack Caught On Video Speak Out

WINDSOR MILL, Md. (WJZ) -- Police are searching for more than a dozen people involved in a brutal assault. The victims say they feared for their lives and they want their attackers caught.

Adam May has the exclusive interviews.

The victims say the attacks may have lasted 10-15 minutes. One of the victims is a young mother of two children. She said she feared she might never see them again.

A Friday night of fun for three friends ended with a violent attack. Two men and a woman were beaten with a hammer, punched and kicked repeatedly by more than a dozen people outside the Windsor Inn.

The victims spoke only to WJZ.

"I was dazed. I got hit in the head a few times with an object, maybe a few different objects," said one of the victims.

"A guy came up and pretty much---he was out there fighting as well---he put my hands up and allowed the rest of the girls to kick the crap out of me," said one of the victims.

We're protecting the victims' identities because they fear retaliation. They say the fight started when their friend spoke to a woman who had a boyfriend.

"He was just basically talking to an unknown female. There was nothing that really caused the fight," said Lt. Robert McCullough.

One of the most disturbing things about this video is, as the man was lying on the ground, you could hear people laughing in the background and egging on the attackers.

"It is sick, especially when my teeth break. My teeth were broken in the back of my mouth," said one of the victims.

WJZ has learned from county police, there were nearly half a dozen other incidents at the Windsor Inn in the last six months, including thefts and assault.

The victims are mad at the ownership.

"No security helped us. It was just us three, defending for ourselves," said one of the victims.

Police now hope the video will help them catch the suspects.

"I don't know any of them, never seen any of them. I don't even remember what they looked like," said one of the victims.

The three victims suffered pretty serious injuries, ranging from broken jaws to fractured skulls, broken noses and missing teeth. They were also robbed by people in the parking lot. One of them even lost a pair of shoes.

Managers at the Windsor Inn declined to comment on their security or response.

Baltimore County Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them at 410-307-2020.
