Girl Struck And Killed By Car In Middle River

MIDDLE RIVER, Md. (WJZ) -- Baltimore County Police say a 9-year-old girl who was hit by a car has died from her injuries.

The crash happened Wednesday evening in the 2100-block of Graythorn Road in Middle River.

The girl was flown to Johns Hopkins where police said she was later pronounced dead.

There's no word on what caused the crash.

Police said the car that hit the girl remained at the scene.

An investigation is underway.
