NBC Analyst Mike Battaglia Talks About The Kentucky Derby

Mike Battaglia is a horse racing analyst who joined Bob & Steve to talk about the Kentucky Derby tomorrow.
Steve asked Mike if there were any issues with Orb getting the outside post position. Mike said he believes Orb would rather be out there than stuck inside against the rail. Mike said Orb has tactical speed and can pick and choose when to run and when to gallop.
Bob asked Mike about pre-race rumors and if you can buy any of them. Mike said you have to take the rumors with a grain of salt, he remembered hearing about horses not running because of soreness and then watching those horses win the race.
Steve asked Mike about Rick Petino's horse and if he is a serious contender in the Derby. Mike said that Rick really knows horses as well as college basketball and that his horse is a contender and can definitely be a threat at this distance.
Finally Steve asked Mike for his pick to win the Derby and about weather conditions. Mike said it may rain but it will not effect his pick which is Orb.
