Man Fleeing Police Ends Up With Car In Pond
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Frederick police say a man who drove away from them during an attempted traffic stop drove the vehicle into a pond.
It happened about 2:15 a.m. Friday on Pearl Street. Officers say 28-year-old Bryan Patrick Davis of Capital Heights refused to pull over for a traffic stop. A police chase followed.
Police say Davis' car left the road, crashed through a fence and into stormwater management pond.
The News-Post of Frederick reports that Davis has been charged with driving while impaired by alcohol and numerous other traffic offenses.
