Medevac On The Scene Of Kent Island Crash

KENT ISLAND, Md. (WJZ) -- A serious accident halts traffic in Queen Anne's County.

Captain Jeff Long has more.

Two vehicles were involved in the accident along Route 8 on Kent Island, just south of the Kentmorr Air Park.

Both lanes of traffic are backed up almost to Route 50.

A pair of ambulance and a medical helicopter are on the scene.

Right now, it's not clear how many victims, if any, were hurt in the crash.
