Ben Hogan and the US Open

Matt Adams of the PGA Tour Network and the Back Nine Network joined the "Glenn Younes Show" on Tuesday Night to discuss US Open. First Matt told the story of Ben Hogan who survived a horrific accident and wound up playing at Marion a few months later, which is hosting the US Open this weekend. It is the 63rd anniversary of Ben Hogan claiming the US Open title in 1950. Matt continues to tell the story how he was able to reenact that shot on Tuesday June 11, for the Back Nine Network. Notable golfers like Sergio Garcia approached Matt about holding Ben Hogan's 1-Iron in which Matt reenacted the shot.

Next up was the US Open and Matt's analysis on the Tiger-Sergio drama.  "I do think it was a remarkably stupid thing to do, but I do think it was more than stupid." When describing Sergio' behavior around the course, Matt explained, "He was so jovial, I think my sense is that he is going out of his way to be a man of the people this week."

Glenn wrapped it up with asking how Philadelphia fans will treat Sergio after his racist remarks. "Sergio being in contention is a long bridge to cross. If he gets across that bridge, I think they will but it won't be too bad. "
