Kolbe's Recap 06-14-13

No game last night or tonight but still plenty to talk about.  After the Game 1 victory the Blackhawks are now 10-1 at home during this postseason.  Tuukka Rask for the Bruins made 59 for the Bruins in the Game 1 loss and before giving up Chicago's first goal he had a streak of 70 consecutive saves.  Bad news for Boston, Nathan Horton is suffering from a shoulder injury and is listed day to day.

Not only did Game 1 excite the United Center crowd in Chicago it was also well received throughout the country.  The ratings for Game 1 between Chicago and Boston were up 119 percent from last years Game 1 between New Jersey & LA.  Also it was the most watched Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals since 1997, averaging 6.358 million viewers.

Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals is tomorrow night at 8pm.
