Police: 2 Walking On Tracks Hit, Killed By CSX Train

GARRETT PARK, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County Police say two people were hit and killed by a freight train.

Police say the pair was walking on the tracks near the Garrett Park MARC station late Wednesday night when they were hit by a CSX train.

The incident is under investigation, but police say it's not clear why the two people were on the tracks. Neither has been identified. Service has not been disrupted.
