Goucher College President To Step Down

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Goucher College President Sanford Ungar has announced he will step down from his post after 13 years.

Ungar, who became president of the liberal arts college in 2001, made his announcement Friday in a letter to the to Board of Trustees chair. He said he will step down in June 2014.

After a year-long sabbatical, Ungar plans to return to Goucher in the fall of 2015 to teach.

The college says it will begin a search for a new president soon.
