Former Raven Wally Williams

Former Raven Wally Williams joined the Norris and Davis show on Baltimore's 105-7 THE FAN Thursday morning to discuss the new face of Baltimore sports after the retirement of Ray Lewis.  Williams believes that Joe Flacco is the new face of Baltimore sports since he is a Super Bowl champion and MVP.  He talks about how people are going to feel not seeing Ray Lewis suit up this year, saying both the players and fans are going to miss seeing him play.  He transitions to mention how, despite all of the losses in the offseason, the Ravens have improved their team as a whole after getting younger and picking up players like Elvis Dumervil.

When asked about if he took trips for motivation similar to that of the Ravens visiting Gettysburg, Williams claims that he never really went anywhere because there was plenty of motivation from home.  He never really felt the need to go anywhere because his father was always in his face about performing well.
