1 Shot As Deputies Serve Arrest Warrant In Md.
WALDORF, Md. (AP) -- Charles County Sheriff's Office says one person was shot as deputies exchanged gunfire with a person at a Waldorf home where they were serving an arrest warrant.
Officials say they've set up a barricade at the home near St. Charles Towne Center on Friday morning after the shooting and other homes in the neighborhood are being evacuated.
Emergency crews flew one person to an area hospital, but officials have not released information about the person's condition.
