Bud Norris Joins The Scott Garceau Show

Orioles Pitcher, Bud Norris joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn and guest host Bob Haynie to talk Birds baseball.

The guys talk about Norris's last start for the Orioles in San Francisco on Sunday. He tells Bob and Jeremy about his long road trip, which started with him pitching for Houston.

Norris tells the guys about the creation of his nickname "Bud" since his real name is David and some other traditions he does before he pitches. Norris shares the importance of his grandparents and how much of an influence they were on him.

Norris explains how important it is to have such a good defense behind him in Baltimore and how much that affects the outcomes of games. After last night's tough loss, Bud talks about the current west coast road trip and the Orioles will bounce back from the lost. He says that the division race is going to be an exciting one and that the players just need to keep their focus on tonight's game.

Finally Norris talks about Buck Showalter's managing and how he is important to winning ball games. He says that he loves watching Adam Jones and Chris Davis and becomes a fan when he isn't pitching
