Baltimore Design School Opens New Facility
BALTIMORE (AP) -- The Baltimore Design School is preparing to open its new facility.
The public school which offers both middle and high school grades will open its renovated factory building on Aug. 26. The building was originally built in 1915 and will serve 350 students in the coming school year.
The building cost nearly $27 million and has more than 100,000 square feet of space. That includes classrooms, studios, art galleries, fabrication facilities and computer labs.
