Crews Recover Body Of Missing Swimmer In Anacostia

BLADENSBURG, Md. (AP) -- Rescue crews have recovered the body of a 25-year-old man who went missing while swimming with his two brothers in the Anacostia River in Bladensburg.

Prince George's County fire department spokesman Mark Brady says the body was recovered around 4:30 p.m., about two hours after the department got a 911 call about the man going under the water near the Bladensburg Marina.

Brady says police will conduct a routine death investigation, but there's no indication of foul play. The man's brothers attempted to find him after he went under but were unable to do so and swam to safety. No one else was injured.
