2 Injured In Shooting In Brandywine

BRANDYWINE, Md. (AP) -- Police in Prince George's County are investigating a shooting in which two young women were injured outside a party at a volunteer firehouse.

Police say they were called to the 14000 block of Brandywine Road around 11:20 p.m. Friday for the report of the shooting. Police found two teenagers suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, but the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

Police say a preliminary investigation found the victims, ages 14 and 15, were attending a party at a volunteer firehouse when several juveniles began fighting. The fight spilled outside, and someone began firing a handgun. Police do not believe the young women were involved in the fight.
