2 Charged With Vandalizing Buildings In Davidsonville

DAVIDSONVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County police have charged two men with arson after fires were set at two businesses in Davidsonville.

Officers were called to JAS Trucking about 6 a.m. Friday. An employee arriving for work found a fire had been started and a forklift had been used to damage a pickup truck and an exterior wall of the firm's building.

While police were investigating, an employee from Brandywine Sand & Gravel on the same street approached detectives and said that a fire had been set in that company's building and was still smoldering.

Police identified two suspects and arrested them Friday morning. Kevin Nash, 23, of Gambrills and Gregory Michelsen, 23, of Davidsonville are charged with arson, burglary and other offenses.
