Teen Hurt In Md. Go-Kart Crash

SHADY SIDE, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County officials say a 13-year-old boy was injured when his go-kart flipped in the Shady Side area.

County fire department spokesman Lt. Keith Hamilton says the teen's go-kart flipped Sunday evening in the 6300-block of Shady Side Road.

Hamilton says the teen suffered a compound fracture to his forearm. He was flown to Johns Hopkins Children's Center in Baltimore.
