Bob Haynie: College And Pro Football Selections - Week 2
Well, I really didn't embarrass myself with my picks last week but, I did not set the world on fire either.
In the college ranks, I was 2 and 1 as Maryland and BYU handled their business against Old Dominion and Texas respectively. Unfortunately, Notre Dame couldn't cover against Michigan.
I had a win, loss and a push with my NFL selections. The Chiefs made it look easy as they spanked the Jags. The Falcons, however, took it on the chin against the Saints. Even though the Bears did manage did knock of the Bengals, they did not exceed the three-point spread in their 24-21 victory.
Now on to this week. There are some very interesting games on the slate and I am feeling pretty good about my choices.
I'm feeling much better than the Orioles are right now, I would assume.
But we digress.
