No Place Like Home: Ravens Fans Flock To M&T Bank Stadium For Home Opener

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Ravens fans were pumped for Sunday's home opener, waking up extra early to gear up for the big game.

Linh Bui reports they started bright and early.

"We got here about quarter to eight, and it was already people waiting to come in here," said Courtney Myers, Ravens fan.

"A lot of people roaming around. Streets are filled with a lot of energy. People are excited," said Brad Howard, Ravens fan.

Decked out in purple and black, people are wearing their pride on their heads, even permanently on their skin.

Fans are excited to see the Super Bowl champs take on the Cleveland Browns at M&T Bank Stadium.

"Season ticket holders," said Steve Minghini, Ravens fan.

These football fanatics came prepared.

"Crab dip, shrimp, salmon burgers stuffed with shrimp," Minghini said.

"We're going hard. We got face paint. We got food cooking. We got drinks. Everything going on," said Myers.

Celebrating well before kickoff, while looking forward to a win.

"Cooking food, drinking beers, having a good time," said Alan Scholz, Ravens fan.

The Ravens went on to beat the Browns 14-6.
