OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) — Authorities in Baltimore County say a man died after a crash in Owings Mills that caused his car to catch fire.

It happened on Cronridge Drive approaching Cronhill Drive.

Police say the man was trapped in the burning car, which had run off the road and hit a utility pole and a tree around 3:45 a.m. Saturday.

Police believe the man was in his late 30s but haven’t confirmed his identity.
