Police: 8 People Injured In Crash Now Stable

COLUMBIA, Md. (AP) -- Howard County police say all eight people who were injured in a five-car crash in Columbia are now in stable condition.

That includes a 7-year-old boy who was critically injured in the crash shortly before noon Saturday at Route 175 and Route 108. Police say the boy was in critical but stable condition Sunday. His name has not been released. All the others injured in the crash were adults.

Police say they believe someone might have experienced a medical emergency prior to the crash, which remains under investigation.
