3 Baltimore Officers Struck By Car Near Nightclub
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Three Baltimore police officers are recovering after they were struck by a car while directing traffic outside a nightclub in Southwest Baltimore.
Authorities say the officers were monitoring a crowd near The Bamboo House nightclub early Sunday morning on North Franklintown Road. That's when a Jeep crossed the road and hit three officers.
One officer fired several shots at the vehicle, but the car fled the scene. Police found the car a short time later in West Baltimore. The suspects had abandoned the vehicle.
The officers were taken to Shock Trauma and were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
