BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A woman died early Friday morning after her pit bull attacked her.

According to WJZ’s media partner, the Baltimore Sun, officers were called to a home on E. 30th Street around 12:45 a.m. Friday for a report of a dog bite. The woman was found inside the home.

She was identified as Terry Douglass.

Douglass was taken to an area hospital where she died.

She was 56.
