Annual Meeting Gives Students Chance To Succeed

LINTHICUM, Md. (AP) -- Educators and business leaders are holding a meeting to talk about how to create a greater chance for students to achieve success in the workplace.

The Maryland Business Roundtable for Education's annual meeting is being held Thursday in Linthicum.

Gov. Martin O'Malley and Rep. Donna Edwards are scheduled to attend. State Superintendent of Schools Lillian Lowery also is scheduled to attend, as well as Gloria Flach, president of Northrup Grumman Electronic Systems.

Corporate executives and educators from K-12 and higher education also are scheduled to attend.
