Fire Damages Vacant Home

NEW WINDSOR, Md. (WJZ) -- A vacant home was damaged by fire Sunday morning.

According to officials, Frederick and Carroll counties' fire departments were called to the 3400-block of Weldon Road for a house fire.

Officials say it took 40 workers approximately 15 minutes to bring the fire under control. No one was inside and no injuries were reported.

According to fire officials, the house suffered $20,000 in damage.
