Persons Of Interest Still Wanted In Black Friday Brawl At Annapolis Mall

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- A brutal beating--caught on camera. It happened on Black Friday inside Westfield Annapolis Mall.

Linh Bui has an update on the investigation.

Police are now searching for another person involved and released new photos that could be key to the case.

The brawl broke out just after midnight on Black Friday inside the Victoria's Secret at the Annapolis Mall.

Video shows women throwing punches and kicks as other customers try to break up the fight.

"We know that was inappropriate behavior for the holiday season. And we're looking to wrap this case up with the public's help," said Lt. T. J. Smith, Anne Arundel County Police.

The 17-year-old victim told Anne Arundel County Police she had never seen her attackers before.

One woman pushed her down, jumped on her and punched her in the head before a second woman joined in.

Regular mall customers were shocked.

"This was ridiculous. I mean, they were totally out of control," said another.

"Nothing you buy is worth that much," one shopper said.

"Thirty-five seconds is too long to be beaten in the face," a shopper said.

Police had released still pictures of the two women they wanted to question.

But now say they're looking for a third "person of interest."

Police say this woman may have been with the suspects and could shed light on what happened.

"We know somebody knows who this person is. And we want to know who this person is. If the person sees themself, they can just, for lack of a better word, turn themselves in," Lt. Smith said.

Police say those involved in the Black Friday fight could face charges, including assault and disorderly conduct.

Anyone with information can contact Anne Arundel County Police or Metro Crime Stoppers.
