BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore City fire officials are investigating a 2-alarm fire.

It broke out around 3:47 a.m Monday inside a rowhome in the 1000-block of North Broadway.

The blaze quickly spread to two other houses.

Residents were able to exit the homes safely.

The fire was placed under control just after 5 a.m.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
