BALTIMORE (AP) — Thomas Baden Jr., editor of The News-Times in Danbury, Conn., has been named editor of The Daily Record in Baltimore.

Baden, 60, is a graduate of the University of Maryland. He began his career at The Post-Standard in Syracuse, N.Y. He worked as a White House and national correspondent for Newhouse News Service, covering the 1988 and 1992 presidential campaigns.
