D.C. Firefighter Arrested For Fake Prescription

CHARLOTTE HALL, Md. (AP) -- A D.C. firefighter has been arrested for allegedly filling a fake prescription at a pharmacy in Maryland while wearing his uniform.

The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department says Henry Dent, 35, was arrested Thursday after coming out of a grocery store in Charlotte Hall, Md., where he filled a fake prescription for oxycodone. The Sheriff's Department says officials recovered 47 oxycodone pills, 18 other fake prescriptions and six empty prescription bottles Dent obtained from pharmacies in Calvert County, Prince George's County and Washington.

Officials say they began looking for Dent after he filled a fake prescription at a pharmacy in Hollywood, Md., on Tuesday.

Dent did not appear to have a listed telephone number. A spokesman for the fire department did not immediately return a telephone call requesting comment Saturday.
