Orioles Hall of Fame pitcher and current analyst Jim Palmer joined Scott and Jeremy to give a last minute preview of the Orioles before Opening Day on Monday. Jonathon Schoop made the Opening Day roster, Jim talked about what its like to be so young and make the major league club. “I think the time he spent in the big leagues in September, Jonathon got a chance to play, he had the back problems you didn’t see a healthy young player, I just see a young player that is getting better.”

Scott brought up the fans perspective as opposed to the “expert perspective”, among the issues that are viewed with the Orioles is the unproven closer Tommy Hunter. “He didn’t really throw the ball well in spring training. Most of the time when you do come into close it is usually a clean inning.”
