Man Charged With DUI After Crashing Through Party City Store
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County Police say an Annapolis man has been charged with driving under the influence after driving his car through the window of a party store.
Police charged 33-year-old Jason McCullough after the crash into the Party City store in the Festival of Riva shopping center on Thursday. There were three workers in the store at the time of the crash, but police say they were not injured.
The store was evacuated, but building inspectors found that the store was structurally sound.
Police said McCullough performed poorly on field sobriety tests and told officers he had used prescription medications earlier in the morning.
