NYC Woman Found Fatally Shot In College Park Hotel

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County Police say a New York City woman was found fatally shot in a hotel in College Park.

Officers were called to make a welfare check at the hotel at about 1:15 p.m. Tuesday. Police say they found Catina Cortes, 25, dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Police say a $25,000 reward is available for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the slaying. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS.
