WEATHER BLOG: Code Orange

Tuesday will reach a high of 94 degrees. Tell me you didn't dream of this lovingly during the Polar Vortex. Still, 10 above normal during the hottest quarter of the year will get your attention.

Due to heat and light winds Tuesday, we will have a Code Orange Air Advisory in effect for all of the state with the exception of Western Maryland's three counties.

As for the chance of t-storms later, not unlike Monday, we will see some spotty activity. The better chance, though, for some strong weather will exist Wednesday afternoon.

The Polar Vortex. Yep, I remember doing live shots during the -15 wind chill. So, it's a little hot now. No big deal.
