Weekend Work To Affect Red, Blue & Yellow Lines

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Metro says buses will replace trains on a section of the red line this weekend, and passengers traveling on the blue and yellow lines will also wait longer for trains.

Metro says that beginning at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, free shuttle buses will replace trains on the red line between Woodley Park and Gallery Place. The Dupont Circle and Farragut North stations will be closed as will the red line platform at Metro Center.

Blue and yellow line trains will operate every 20 minutes.

Orange and green lines will operate at regular weekend intervals.
